3. The "Trust" Stat matters. The game does a poor job explaining this, but every choice you make in one character’s arc affects the other’s "Trust" in you, the player. If you make Kaelen too selfish, Seri’s dialogue options become hostile, and she will intentionally solve her puzzles wrong.
