4.2 Algorithm Workflow

  1. The sensor captures a sequence of 8–12 frames in 500 ms.
  2. Each frame is processed through a bandpass filter to isolate ridge/valley structures.
  3. The PurePrint™ engine extracts:
    • Use Synaptics syna_fs7605.ko kernel module (supports both fingerprint and TMR input events as separate input devices).
    • Liveness event is reported via a vendor-specific SPI command 0xE2 (result: 0x01 = live, 0x00 = fake).
