This is the most important part of the guide because issues with the Security Key are notoriously frustrating for SWTOR players.

How to set it up so it works:

1. Log into your account on https://www.swtor.com.
2. Go to "Security Key" section in your account settings.
3. Click "Add Security Key."
4. You will see a Serial Number (starts with SWTOR) and a Secret Key (a long code).
5. Open your working authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator).
6. Tap "Add Code" -> "Enter setup key."
7. Enter the Secret Key exactly. Name it "SWTOR."
8. The app generates a 6-digit code. Enter that code into the SWTOR website.
9. Save the "Removal Key" that the website gives you. Write it down physically.
