What it is
Sinamics Starter v5.4 is Siemens’ configuration, parameterization, and commissioning software for the Sinamics family of AC drives (e.g., G120, G120C, G120P). It provides a Windows-based interface to connect to drives, set parameters, run diagnostics, and perform start-up tasks for single- and multi-motor applications.
- Search for any parameter by number (e.g., P1910 for motor data identification).

The most significant shift in version 5.4 is the handling of Sinamics Support Packages (SSPs). Starting with V5.4 HF1, you can no longer perform subsequent SSP installations directly through the main STARTER data medium (DVD or full download). Instead: Sinamics Starter v5
