The ISA 304 is designed for indoor use and manages up to four watering zones. 

• Cycle & Soak: The ISA 304 cannot do this automatically. Manual workaround: Set 3 start times (e.g., 4:00 AM, 4:30 AM, 5:00 AM) each with 5 minutes of watering for Station 1. This prevents runoff on clay soil.
• Rain Sensor Compatibility: The ISA 304 does not have a dedicated sensor input. To add a rain sensor, you must wire it in series with the "C" (Common) wire. Cut the common wire, connect both ends to the rain sensor leads.
• Winterizing: Turn the dial to OFF. Pull all start time tripper pins out and store them in a baggie taped to the inside of the door. Remove station pins. This prevents accidental activation during freezing weather.

• Valve Wires: Connect one wire from each valve to terminals 1, 2, 3, and 4.
