Weaknesses
1. Some Gags Wear Thin
A few running jokes (Shawn’s food obsessions, Gus’s fake names) land less often than in earlier seasons. The show occasionally over-explains punchlines.
The main cast remains consistent, but Season 6 is notable for its star-studded guest list: William Shatner : Guest stars as Frank O'Hara, Juliet's con-artist father. Kurt Fuller
- "Last Night Gus" (Episode 2): Frequently voted the greatest Psych episode of all time. Think The Hangover but with a British nanny, a panther, and Henry Spencer in handcuffs. The complete pack lets you replay the "I feel like I’ve been stabbed in the heart... by a knight... on a horse... who’s on fire" scene endlessly.
- "Indiana Shawn and the Temple of the Kinda Crappy, Rusty Old Dagger" (Episode 14): A perfect Indiana Jones parody.
- "Heeeeere’s Lassie" (Episode 11): A The Shining homage that proves Lassiter (Timothy Omundson) could carry a horror film.
