Overview

This guide covers safe, practical methods to reset a forgotten password on a p6spro DVR (model family: P6SPro / P6S Pro series). It includes steps for built-in (local) resets, hardware reset, and recovery via supplier/manufacturer support. Use only on devices you own or are authorized to manage.

1. Log in to the DVR: If you have a user account with a known password, log in to the DVR using the web interface or the local interface.
2. Go to the System Settings: Navigate to the System Settings or Configuration menu.
