Disclaimer: The following guide is provided for educational and archival purposes. Autodesk has officially retired AutoCAD 2017. As of March 2023, it is no longer supported, meaning it does not receive security updates and may not run correctly on newer operating systems (Windows 11). Step 3: Run the Installation

    1. Standard Uninstall: Control Panel > Uninstall "Autodesk AutoCAD 201x".
    2. Use the Microsoft FixIt Tool: Download the "Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter" from Microsoft.
    3. Manual File Cleanup: Delete C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 201x.
    4. Registry Cleanup (Advanced): Run regedit. Delete HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\AutoCAD. Backup your registry first.
