Install Autodesk Autocad 2017 !new!

Disclaimer: The following guide is provided for educational and archival purposes. Autodesk has officially retired AutoCAD 2017. As of March 2023, it is no longer supported, meaning it does not receive security updates and may not run correctly on newer operating systems (Windows 11). Additionally, Autodesk has discontinued the sale of perpetual licenses; current versions are available exclusively via subscription. Ensure you own a valid license to use this software.

• If online: Click Activate → enter your Autodesk account credentials → activation is automatic.
• If offline: Choose Request an activation code using an offline method → copy the Request Code → visit the Autodesk activation website on another computer → enter the code you receive.

Step 3: Run the Installation

1. 1. Standard Uninstall: Control Panel > Uninstall "Autodesk AutoCAD 201x".
   2. Use the Microsoft FixIt Tool: Download the "Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter" from Microsoft.
   3. Manual File Cleanup: Delete C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 201x.
   4. Registry Cleanup (Advanced): Run regedit. Delete HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\AutoCAD. Backup your registry first.
