ArcGIS 10.8 Installation Guide This guide outlines the standard procedure for installing ArcGIS Desktop 10.8 on a Windows machine. As of March 1, 2026

1. Go to Start Menu > ArcGIS > ArcGIS Administrator (Run as Admin).
2. Click Desktop on the left.
3. Select Single Use or Concurrent Use.
4. Click OK.
5. Launch ArcMap (the classic green globe icon).
