Do not waste time with the original driver on Windows 10/11. Download the VueScan trial first. If it recognizes your Filmscan 35i, buy it. It will save you hours of driver hell.

  1. Go to File or Acquire (sometimes labeled "Get Photos").
  2. Select the scanner source (it may appear as "USB 2.0 Camera" or "Film Scanner").
  3. A preview window will open, displaying the live feed from your slide tray.
