Overview — Huawei HDB interface driver download

The Huawei HDB (Huawei Debug Bridge) interface is a device driver and protocol used to allow a computer to communicate with Huawei Android devices for debugging, fastboot-like operations, and advanced functions when ADB over USB isn't available. Users typically need the HDB interface driver when performing tasks such as device flashing, firmware updates, developer debugging, or using OEM tools that require a vendor-specific bridge connection.

Note: This requires HiSuite app installed on your phone (available from Huawei AppGallery).

If using the Standalone Driver:

  1. Extract the downloaded .zip file to a folder on your desktop.
  2. Open the extracted folder and look for a file usually named DrvInstall.exe, Setup.exe, or AutoInstall.bat. Run this as Administrator.
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to finish the installation.
  4. Restart your computer.
