• Use a flashlight to look into the grinding chamber.
• Insert the disposal’s Allen wrench into the socket at the bottom of the unit and turn back and forth to free any jammed impellers. If your model lacks a bottom socket, use a wooden spoon handle inserted from the sink to gently rotate the impellers.
• Remove any trapped debris with long-handled pliers or tongs.
