1. Positioning: Place the pump on a solid, flat surface. In a pond, elevate the pump 6–8 inches off the bottom to prevent sludge intake.
2. Plumbing Connections: Attach the adapter to the pump outlet. Use PTFE tape or silicone grease on threads—never PVC primer/glue directly on the pump housing.
3. Priming & Startup: For submersible use: Submerge, then plug in. For dry use: Fill the pump housing with water via the priming port before turning on the power.

• Electrical Safety: Installation must be performed by a certified electrician. Ensure the mains power supply is isolated before wiring the unit.
• Water Safety: Do not install the unit in areas where it may freeze. Ensure water pressure does not exceed the maximum rating (see Specifications).
• IP Rating: Ensure the installation location adheres to the unit’s Ingress Protection (IP) rating guidelines regarding water spray.
