- Click Installation on the left sidebar.
- Select New SQL Server stand-alone installation or add features to an existing installation.
- Enter the product key. Note: The Developer edition is free, but you may be asked to select "Specify a free edition" and choose Developer from the dropdown menu if the key isn't pre-filled.
- Accept the license terms and hit Next.
Choose "Download Media": Instead of choosing "Basic" or "Custom" installation, select the Download Media option. Select ISO Format: Choose your preferred Language. Select the ISO radio button.
