Once you have downloaded the OVA from the Palo Alto portal, here is the fastest way to get it running on VMware:
While Palo Alto Networks hardware appliances come pre-installed, the virtual versions require you to download the software image (often packaged as an .iso or .ova file) and deploy it on your hypervisor of choice.
