Akaza vs. Tanjiro and Giyu: This rematch pushes Tanjiro to reach the "Selfless State," allowing him to see the Transparent World. Even after being decapitated, Akaza begins to regrow his head but ultimately chooses to stop regenerating after regaining his human memories. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie:
- A Safe Haven: Muzan cannot walk in the sun. The castle provides a permanent, impenetrable shelter where he can operate freely.
- A Meeting Place: The Upper Moons are summoned here via Nakime’s biwa for meetings, punishments, or the distribution of Muzan’s blood.
- The Final Trap: As we see in the later arcs, Muzan intentionally uses the castle to swallow the entire Demon Slayer Corps, separating them from one another to be slaughtered piecemeal.
