1. The "Thaw, Update, Freeze" Cycle

  1. Boot the computer and Thaw it (Shift + Double-Click -> Enter Password -> Select "Boot Thawed").
  2. Restart the computer. It will now boot into an unprotected state.
  3. Install your Windows Updates, software patches, or driver updates.
  4. Restart the computer one more time to ensure the updates applied cleanly.
  5. Freeze the computer again (Shift + Double-Click -> Enter Password -> Select "Boot Frozen").
  6. Restart. The computer is now locked down with the new updates included.

Core Isolation Support: This is the most significant update. Deep Freeze now supports Windows computers with Core Isolation (VBS) enabled by default.
