Last Resort – Skip the mission (single-player campaign)
On PC, use a mission skip save editor (ACU Save Tool by FearLess).
On consoles, download a post-Sequence-7 save file via USB (requires save resigning).
Close unnecessary programs: Close any unnecessary programs or background applications.
Increase virtual memory: Increase your system's virtual memory to ensure that the game has sufficient resources.
Free up disk space: Ensure that you have sufficient disk space available (at least 20 GB).
Fixed: The spring-loaded neck. Ubisoft implemented a “decapitation flag” that disabled the character’s head reattachment animation once the blade passed a certain Z-axis threshold.
Improved: The guillotine blade now has a larger collision box and an early-out script that forces the head to detach even if the physics tick misses the exact frame of impact.
