Important Note: Adobe Audition 1.5 is legacy software (released in 2004). It is not officially supported on modern operating systems (Windows 10/11). For best results, use Windows XP, Vista, or 7, or a virtual machine.

Step 5: Optimizing the Workspace for Speed

Audition 1.5’s speed is legendary, but you must set it up correctly:

• F1 (default Help) – reassign to Record.
• Ctrl+Shift+N – reassign to New Multitrack Session.
• Save your shortcut set as "Modern Workflow".
